About this month's conversation

A conversation worth gathering for

Most Whole Life Times Dialogues are recorded throughout the year and made freely available through the Whole Life Times YouTube channel. From among those many conversations, however, we select approximately one each month that seems especially suited to becoming a live event—an opportunity for the wider WLT community to gather around an important guest, an important subject or an important moment.

WLT Dialogues are not intended to be rapid-fire promotional interviews. We prefer to give a conversation room to breathe: to listen carefully, follow ideas where they lead and explore relationships between a guest's particular work and the wider questions with which Whole Life Times is concerned, from holistic health, psychology and consciousness to ecology, culture, sustainability, leadership and the future of humanity.

For selected live Dialogues, registered participants may also be invited to submit questions in advance or contribute questions during the event. The arrangements for each monthly Dialogue will be explained on its individual event page.

Why WLT Dialogues Live?

Creating a space for deeper listening

Whole Life Times has always been interested in the relationships between subjects that are too often considered separately. A conversation about health may lead towards ecology; ecology towards economics and culture; psychology towards consciousness; technology towards ethics; and concern about the future towards questions of leadership, responsibility and the kind of civilisation humanity might yet create.

WLT Dialogues Live creates a regular place for some of those connections to be explored in real time. The monthly selection is an editorial one: not a judgement that other WLT Dialogues matter less, but a recognition that certain people and subjects deserve a special opportunity for readers, viewers and participants to gather around the conversation as it happens.

Afterwards, the recording does not disappear with the event. It can become part of the permanent WLT Dialogue library, and over the years the monthly series can develop into a distinctive audiovisual record of people and ideas contributing to human flourishing, planetary wellbeing and the possibilities of a more conscious relationship with the living Earth.
